Pinehurst Community Bus
From 2003 when the Pines School closed until 2011 a rota of volunteers operated a school bus between Pinehurst and Hertford Heath School. The original minibus was provided by Hertford Community Church, and was replaced by a newer bus in 2010. We are grateful to Hertfordshire County Council, East Herts Council, Hertford Town Council and Hertford Community Church for funding the purchase of our replacement bus. The school bus ceased to operate at the end of the 2010-11 school year, and the minibus is now operated for us by Young Life.
The minibus can be hired by Pinehurst residents and other community groups at the following very low rates (less than half what a commercial rental company would charge):

- £40 per day
- £75 per weekend (from 4pm Friday to Sunday evening)
- £150 per week
- £25 per midweek evening (from 4pm onwards)
